Our classic bird shooting safaris will celebrate the many riches of Africa's greatest natural resource in timehonored tradition and style. A typical day includes bird shooting in the early morning and then returning to camp with some game viewing on the way. A late brunch is then in order after which you have time to relax. Early afternoon is perfect for driven and walk-up hunts. The late afternoon is great for birds at the waterholes. Game birds in Tanzania include sandgrouse, francolin, spurfowl, guineafowl, dove, ducks and geese.

A wing shooting safari can also be combined with a Big Game hunting or a photographic safari. Wing shooting has never been this exciting and adventurous before!

In order to hunt the more remote parts of our Masailand areas we now offer the option of horseback hunting.

The extensive mountain ranges especially in the north of Lake Natron have until now been inacessible to all hunters due to the rough terrain. Surveys on foot and from the air have established the presence of game. Since trophy hunting started in recent times in Masailand - some 20 years ago - there has been no record of anyone hunting the Matali Mountain range in nothern Lake Natron.

The rocky foothills of Mount Galai is another area that has not been hunted until now. Habitat and altitude in these areas varies from desert scrubland of the rift valley floor at 1000 feet up to dense mountain rainforest at 7000 feet

Horseback hunting and fly camping is the most practical way to hunt these places. We expect to take some exceptional trophies here during the 2004 season including lion, leopard, buffalo, lesser kudu, gerenuk, oryx, bushbuck, grants gazelle, mountain reedbuck and cokes hartebeest.
