A third generation hunter, born and brought up in South Africa, Douglas began hunting at a very early age. Between education and farming, Douglas’ spare time was spent hunting, fishing and traveling around Africa. Following in his father’s footsteps, he naturally entered the safari business.

Douglas graduated from the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester, England, with a Masters Degree in Agricultural Business and Marketing. After graduation, he moved to Tanzania and joined TGTS as the Operations Manager. Today, he continues to work for Tanzania Game Tracker Safaris, both in management and as a Professional Hunter.
