Martin was born in Zambia in 1963. In 1970, he moved to Zimbabwe where he was raised on a farm, growing up in the right environment to develop his passion for wildlife and hunting. He started his career in 1990 as a hunting apprentice in Matetsi, Zimbabwe under Roy Vincent of Westwood Wildlife Safaris.

In 1992, Martin became a fully licensed Professional Hunter and has hunted Zimbabwe, followed by Tanzania since 1996. He is a member of the Zimbabwe and Tanzania Professional Hunters Associations. He is a passionate hunter and ensures that each and every one of his clients is as satisfied with the thrill of the chase as they are with their trophy. When not hunting, Martin lives in Zimbabwe with his wife and two children.
