Born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Andy was introduced to the bush at a young age, fishing and hunting in Matabeleland. Andy spent several years guiding fishing, hunting, canoeing and walking safaris in the Zambezi Valley. During this time, he was also responsible for coordinating anti-poaching efforts. Later he was made an Honorary Ranger with the Zambian Wildlife Department.

Andy has also worked in Uganda and Kenya as an operations manager for an adventure safari company. He went on to join TGTS in 2001 as a Concession Manager and obtained his full hunters license shortly thereafter.

Presently, he guides both hunting and photographic trips around Tanzania. In his spare time, Andy travels within Africa kayaking and fishing some of the continent's wildest rivers.
